Does your library have this textbook?
"Organizing School Dances" is a very unique, one-of-a kind
book.  At the present time there is no other book on this subject.

This book would be an excellent addition to your library!

Almost every school runs at least one school dance a year. The school population always changes, just because students graduate and teachers come and go. So, every dance could be run by a different teacher and by a different group of students. All dance committees, experienced or inexperienced or a mixture of both will benefit from the many good ideas found in this textbook.

It's possible to have more than one dance committee at any school. These dance committees can all be planning dances at the same time. As an example, the Junior Class could be working on Prom and the Senior Class could be working on the Senior Banquet. Also the German club could be organizing a fundraising dance to raise money to go to Germany.

Many churches and youth organizations have community dances and would benefit from this book.

Therefore it's important to have multiple copies of this book in your library so the students and teachers aren't left without this valuable information.

When a dance committee first meets, everyone is so excited and wants to get started on organizing the dance right away. Having this book in your library helps your student dance committee avoid delays they might encounter by ordering the book online and having to wait four to six weeks for delivery.

This book makes no claim to originality, but rather offers practical solutions to problems that all schools face when running a dance. These solutions are simply based on what other schools have done in the past to solve their problems. So you're learning through the experiences of other schools.

Note:

The teachers and parents who run dance committees are often spread thin as far as responsibilities. By having the library keep track of who has the book reduces the stress on the dance committee chairperson.
