Educating students is the key to
success. Having books and materials available for each dance committee
member to use is a very important part of the learning process. Note:
When organizing an Elementary school dances the dance committee members
might all be adults. Middle Schools, High Schools, and Colleges should
have dance committee members who are students. It is best to give each
dance committee member a copy of this book. Your school or local
library should have copies of this book available for your dance
committee to use. Quantities of this book can be purchased at a
discount rate. See Buy Now Page for discount rate Link to: Get the Book
The steps to using this book are as follows:
- The Chairperson of the dance
committee (usually an adult) should have reviewed the entire book
before meeting with the dance committee.
- The Chairperson picks the place, date and time of the first dance committee meeting.

meeting, pass out copies of the book to all dance committee members. As

answer the questions to "Organizing Your School Dance Worksheets" which
are in the back of the book.
- By forming six sub committees, you can organize your dance committee quickly and easily. See the link to: Organizing Your Committee

plan to attend all the dance committee meetings, plus do research on
their own time and help our the day of the dance if needed.
