About the Comic Illustrator

Twenty-one year old Amanda Basom graduated from Gogebic Community College in Ironwood, Michigan. She studied Graphic Communications and planned to work in the art related field as her career. Amanda has been helping Tommy with this book since she was a junior in high school. When she entered college, she was able to work on it as part of her college classes as well.

Presently, Amanda is looking for a career opportunity in the art related field. Amanda is a very talented young artist that draws, paints, photographs, and designs things for friends, relatives, and people that need a hand. If you have a project that you think Amanda can help you with, give Sound and Light a call and they'll get you in touch with Amanda.

About the Book Designer

Jamie has been involved in the graphic arts field for over 20 years as a business owner of commercial print shops, a commission artist and photographer, as well as a graphic designer.

During the '07 winter semester as adjunct faculty of Gogebic Community College, Jamie Woodward presented this book project "Organizing School Dances Stress Free" to his graphics classes as a way of getting students involved in working on authentic material for a client. Jamie is the current owner of The Print Shop, located in Ironwood, Michigan. Woodward's award winning graphic design, quality commercial printing, experience, and artistic background account for an outstanding combination of creativity. If you are interested in having your business experience growth through cutting edge marketing graphic design and printed materials, contact Jamie at The Print Shop for further information.
